Omaggio a Naufragio con spettatore di Claudio Parmiggiani

Two shipwrecked individuals (Fabrizio Gifuni and Sonia Bergamasco) act out the impossibility of dialogue, talking and trying over and over in order to succeed, as well as remembering how and when they have tried to do so. And though they are ever returned to their point of departure, they recommence with renewed energy.

Using Claudio Parmiggiani's installation at the Chiesa di San Marcellino in Parma, where a ship soars and takes flight, rising up and then plunging into a silent sea of real books, Elisabetta Sgarbi brings to life a magisterial dialogue by author Edoardo Nesi. His is a dialogue dedicated to love, to a man and woman who belong both to the modern age and to every age; to a couple who love one another, or at least try to do so.
