This is the backstage of the shooting of a short video that Antonio Rezza and Flavia Mastrella did for the Future Film Festival held in Bologna, Italy in February 2000. Antonio Rezza is one of the most peculiar and oblique Italian artists of today. Director, actor (both cinema and theater), writer, Antonio Rezza usually works with Flavia Mastrella who is a painter, visual artist and director. Together they were awarded several prizes for their critically acclaimed short films. Their first feature film, Escoriandoli, was shown at the Venice Film Festival in 1999. Antonio Rezza's latest pièce is called Io.

Fla, the title of the video, is short for Flavia (Mastrella). She is the main character around which the story revolves, between dream and reality, waking and sleeping, eyes that stare at each other.

Since August of 1999, three versions of this short film have been made, 10', 9' and 7'42" long, respectively.
